Strategic study for the establishment of a agents banking network at CAURIE-MF (funded by AFD)

Project Description:
Our team of experts was in charge of covering all aspects related to the set up of a banking agents network for Caurie- MF (a Senegalese MFI). To do so, they carried out a strategic study allowing to identify the best business models taking in account both internal and external factors.

The activities carried out involve:

  • Carry out an external study (market study, regulations, mapping of potential partnerships),
  • Carry out an internal diagnosis of CAURIE-MF (operational capacities, organizations and human resources, internal procedures, management information system and architecture, network and distribution model, etc.) using SOFI diagnostic methodology
  • Define a target model and solution for the agents banking network by comparing market research with CAURIE-MF’s internal reality (products, internal capacities, customer experience, geographic areas),
  • Develop a macro business plan to confirm the profitability of the project.
