Project Description:
Assist the DEFIA Project of ENABEL to set-up and operationalize a loan guarantee fund to improve access to finance of smallholder farmers and agri-food businesses in the Pineapple Value-Chain in Benin.
The activities carried out involve:
- Elaborate ToRs to recruit an entity to manage the Loan Guarantee Fund
- Support ENABEL in the selection process
- Elaboration of an Operating Manual describing the guarantee mechanism
- Assist ENABEL in the selection of partner MFIs
