Coaching and strengthening the capacity of the Regulatory and Supervisory body of the Ministry of Finances of Ivory Coast
Project Description:
Capacity Building of the staff of the DRSSFD including the development of new tools such as CAMELI, TERICE and a tailored MIS.
The activities carried out involve:
A first phase consisted of a needs assessment in terms of:
- Training;
- Tools and support;
- On the job coaching;
A second phase of technical assistance:
- Training and coaching of teams of inspectors in charge of on-site and off-site inspections;
- Elaborating guidelines, manuals of procedures and tools (incl. the review of business plans) for strengthening the licensing process;
- Training of the staff on a Factsheet to analyze financial performance and on reviewing internal controls;
- Provide TA in the drafting of ToRs and specifications to equip the DRSSFD with a new MIS and support the team in the selection/implementation of a new MIS.
