A case study on the stone and clay value chains: challenges and way forward

Access to finance remains a key challenge for most MSMEs in Rwanda and the reasons are many: high collateral and document requirements, inadequate financial products, risk aversion, lengthy processes, just to list a few. In the framework of a project funded by Enabel Rwanda, Azimut has conducted research on access to finance for MSMEs operating in the stone and clay value chains.
